But come festival time, they paint their faces, strap on wooden stilts as tall as stop signs, and put on an act that's a combination political rally, commedia dell'arte, and steeplechase. It's a weird and astonishing spectacle, and filmmakers Carma Hinton and Richard Gordon show it off beautifully in this whimsical short."
