Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the People’s Daily.
A popular essayist, he penned hundreds of essays for the Beijing Evening News.
In April 1966, he and other two writers were charged for being part of an "anti-Party clique." On May 18, Deng Tuo committed suicide.
